Inspired by Scandinavian design and modernist masters, I strive to create pieces with a minimal, yet powerful, presence and clarity. I feel compelled to tell stories and spark understanding through clear, unique, thoughtful graphic design and illustration. I believe that we inherently seek balance, belong to nature, and yearn for true connection and joy. In my work I strive to embrace these beliefs by looking to the beauty of the natural world and incorporating humor whenever possible. I am passionate about book, magazine, and editorial design, as well as illustration. Above all, I feel that it is important at the beginning of each design project to take time to investigate, be thoughtful, and ask: What story do we want to tell? How best can we tell that story with clarity and impact?
